Engineer Al-Hayari holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Basrah in Iraq, obtained in 1993. He has undertaken numerous roles and responsibilities within the energy sector and is a member of several local and international committees. With over 22 years of experience in the energy sector, he joined the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in 2001, where he worked in both the oil and gas sectors, and held various positions, most recently as Assistant Secretary-General for Energy Affairs.
Al-Hayari also participated as a member of the Royal Energy Committee in 2022, contributing to the National Economic Workshop titled "Transitioning to the Future: Unleashing Potential to Modernize the Economy". Concurrently, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Logistic Company for Petroleum Facilities, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Petroleum Company, and a member of the committees responsible for adjusting fuel prices and recovering petroleum operations costs.
